Primary Base Series (PBS) Softcopy Map

Softcopy Primary Base Series data are raster images produced from CFF and PBS map sources. PBS maps are large-scale Forest Service topographic maps produced in cooperation with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). PBS maps contain additional Forest Service information such as protracted Public Land Survey System landlines, ownership, Forest Service route numbers, administrative boundaries, and facilities. They are revised using standard topographic mapping techniques, including updated information provided by National Forests and Grasslands.
